Frequently asked questions

What is CBD?

CBD stands for cannabidiol which is a compound (a phytocannabinoid) found in hemp/cannabis plants. CBD does not have any psychoactive properties.

What is full spectrum extract?

Full Spectrum Extract (FSE) is derived from hemp and contains many cannabinoids beyond CBD, including legal limits of THC, along with other elements of the hemp plant, including naturally-occurring terpenes, essential vitamins, fatty acids, protein, and more. This extract can then be added to make a tincture, salve or other products.

Do Carolina Canna Co products contain THC?

Trace amounts of THC can be found in most CBD products. Trace amounts are nonpsychoactive (will not give you a "high"). Our products comply with federal mandates of less than 0.3% THC. Because there are trace amouts of THC and drug tests are not uniform for THC threshold, a positive test is possible. Carolina Canna Co holds no liability for any positive results on a drug test.

How much CBD should I take?

Everyone is unique and products affect everyone differently. Start small and work your way up until the desired effect is reached. We reccomend for the average weight of 120-200lbs to start by taking 15mg per dose. Our pipettes in all our tincture will be about 15mg per push. For those of you who are seeking immediate relief and comfortable with the product, taking 30mg per dose can be achieved.

What quality control measures do you take with your products?

We use organic farming methods and follow the highest standards of quality and safety in our products. Our products follow comprehensive protocols and are third-party tested for heavy metals and pesticides, in addition to cannabinoid profile.

What are Bundles?

Bundles from Carolina Canna Co are designed for patients and customers that are seeking consistent supplies to maintain the balance they have achieved using our products as well as consistent delivery on a monthly basis. You can purchase one time only or 12 month bundles which auto draft for convenience. These make for great gifts and introductory products to who we are as a company. Buy yours today!

What is the endocannabinoid system (ECS)?

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) consists of cannabinoid receptors all over the body, endocannabinoid molecules and their metabolic enzymes. The (ECS) is a recently discovered, yet crucial molecular system that your body uses to help maintain homeostasis. The (ECS) is the key to the ignition switch in the body, full of molecular code. All mammals have an endocannabinoid system, including you and your pets! Our bodies naturally produce endocannabinoids, and phytocannabinoids are the equivalent cannabinoid molecules produced from hemp. CB1 receptors are primarily found in the brain and central nervous system, and CB2 receptors are mostly in the secondary organs, especially in cells associated with the immune system. This is why we recommend hemp as a food source to everyone as a diet improvement.
